Overview

A scalable multi-vendor e-commerce platform for architectural materials, built solo end to end: backend architecture, admin and vendor dashboards, real-time chat, payments, shipping, notifications, and deployment.

Engineering work

• Built an Express.js/MVC backend with Mongoose schemas for a multi-vendor data model.
• Built React + Tailwind admin and vendor dashboards.
• Implemented Socket.IO real-time chat and OAuth2 authentication.
• Configured Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and Redis/BullMQ background workers for email queues.
• Set up Swagger API documentation, wrote backend tests with Mocha/Chai, configured CI/CD, and deployed via Docker on GCP.
